Anyway, here are some updates:
I've been working, of course, both at my job and on various projects. Mainly writing, as that is what I am, but I have a few weapon sketches that I've finished as well, and will be posting some time soon.
The first submission of course was the updated sketch of Brawl, submitted on 12-28-08. I never really like how the original turned out, but I just didn't feel like redoing it at the time. well, I finally got around to doing it, and I think it turned out alright. The guard is uneven, and I meant to fix it, but I decided it looks better that way, so yeah.
Everything else is Rain Boy stuff. Mainly the many forms of his universal weapon, Dead Reaver. Now that I think about it, I not sure that I submitted anything on Rain Boy before... I'll have to be sure to so that. It will most likely just be a written piece of work, as my character sketches never seem to turn out right. I've drawn him twice and am dissatisfied with them both. I'm much better with weapons, or at least I think so.
Anyway, I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, you'll have to make do with the written work.
~~
That's all for now, I'll be keeping you posted.

And yes, it is nice to meet other fans of the series. I have to say your the first I've met, other than myself of course.
I'm currently on the ninth book and find them t obe most enjoyable. It's sad that this is te last of them, or at least that is what I have come to assume.
The ninth? Do you mean "Clash?" There will be one more book, out next year, to finish off the series
And as I said, I only assumed it was the last, judging by the three book structure that has been laid out.
But what of this new book? I've heard nothing of it, and the bookstore didn't know about it when I asked them, same with The Lost Barkscrolls you have mentioned.
However, this news brings many questions to mind. Such as, when will the new book take place, the first age of flight, or the second? What will it be about? who will be the star character, is it someone we already know, or someone new? So many questions, not enough answers. But I suppose that all will be answered in time.
As for when it is all over, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. I for one will be contented to know that such a good series hasn't just passed me by (which happens alot, as I only just started reading EC a few weeks ago) and that I can revisit the Edge any time I choose. However, it still saddens me to thinks that it's coming to an end.
I read the whole series in a very short period of time like you, and I think that's why I got so excited about it.
